So on return to London I studied Somali and my studies took a whole new level when I fell in love with and married a Somali woman. The woman is now the mother of my two sons: Yusuf and Yunus Burr.

Learning Somali is about to get serious...
For too long, the Somali language hasn't been given the credit and dignity it deserves as an ancient world language. It's been neglected by it's own people and often shunned as a 'back home' language.
Well, here at SomaliLanguage.com, we believe that it's preservation is key to Somalias future and we have a responsibility to value it's rules, pronunciation and vocabulary just like we do with English, Arabic, French or Chinese.
